U of A researchers earn science and technology awards
Three University of Alberta researchers were among those honoured [...] for outstanding innovative contributions to science and technology in Alberta. Dr Norman Beaulieu, a professor of electrical engineering, received the Outstanding Leadership in Alberta Technology Award. Beaulieu is a leader in the analysis and modeling of wireless communications systems and has made groundbreaking contributions in a number of areas, including performance analysis of wireless systems, modeling of fading channels, and novel electrical pulse shapes for data modems.
