Lorne Sawula
Lorne W. Sawula, 1967 BPE, 1969 MA, 1976 PhD, was a member of the Golden Bears volleyball team (1964–69 and 1970–71) and has coached many university volleyball teams since then. He returned as assistant coach of the Golden Bears and the Pandas in 1993 and has coached national women's volleyball teams for Switzerland, Australia, and Sweden at World Championships, FISU, Olympic, and Pan American Games.Sawula is a 2004 inductee to the University of Alberta's Sports Wall of Fame.
