Joyce Cutts

Joyce Cutts (Mattson), 1954 BPE, was a member of the Pandas basketball (1950–53) and volleyball (1953–55) teams and competed for the University of Alberta in badminton, swimming, and track and field. She was a member of Canada's senior women's gold medal–winning slopitch softball team in 2002; she is a three-time Canadian Ladies Tennis Doubles Champion (once for over 55 and twice for over 65); she represented Canada in the Ladies Over 70 World Tennis Championship in 2002 and 2003. Cutts has also won in her age-group for golf, badminton, and 10-km road races.

The University of Alberta is proud to add Joyce Cutts' name to its Sports Wall of Fame; she is a 2004 inductee.
