University of Alberta Dance Club
1957-Going strong since 1957, the UADC is the largest student group on campus with 1800 members! We teach Ballroom Dancing to our members in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. We are pleased to offer classes with our dance directors, Dominic Lacroix and Delphine Romaire, Canadian Amateur Latin Champions of 2002 and 10-Dance Canadian Championships winners seven times over. Besides offering various levels of instruction from Newcomer through Silver, the Club hosts workshops throughout the year that feature dances not taught in the regular classes, or that offer more in-depth instruction of dances we already teach. We hold informal dances, theme dances such as Beach Party and Halloween, and formal balls. Please refer to our website for club meeting times, locations, and prices.
