The Alberta Ingenuity Fund was established by the government of Alberta in order to build a prosperous future for the province. It draws its funding from a $1 billion endowment fund managed by the provincial government. The Alberta Ingenuity Fund supports science and engineering research of the highest calibre; it is designed to enhance Alberta's capacity for innovation and to develop internationally competitive scientific and engineering expertise.
